Cheryl L. Villaret
Cheryl Villaret received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, Ca in 1989.
For the last 32 years, Mrs. Villaret has treated adult patients in a variety of clinical areas, including acute care, neuro rehab, orthopedics, home health and geriatrics.
In 2011, her career focus took a different turn when she completed the 135 hour Klose training course of study to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. In the last 10 years, she has developed cancer-related lymphedema programs at 3 different facilities.
In 2020, she became credentialed by the Lymphology Association of North America signifying her commitment to provide the highest level of expertise and competency to her patients and their medical providers as a LANA-Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
Mrs. Villaret is currently working on developing a Strength After Breast Cancer program for lymphedema prevention and improved function. She offers care prior to, during and after treatment to a variety of breast cancer and oncology patients.
She practices an evidence based, patient centered approach to treatment with strong emphasis on patient education and self-care. She enjoys sharing her patient’s pleasure in the progress they make with her therapy and seeing them self-managing their chronic lymphedema condition.
