Ms. Morales received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2014 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She received her Hand Therapy Certification in 2022. Hand therapists are certified or licensed occupational therapists or physical therapists who, through advanced education, clinical experience, and independent study have become proficient in the treatment of pathological upper limb conditions resulting from trauma, disease or congenital or acquired deformity.

Jessica has experience in the outpatient setting/Hand Therapy setting, treating musculoskeletal disorders, orthopedic post-surgical aftercare/suture removal, orthopedic related injuries/fractures, and wide range of upper extremity disorders/injuries. Ms. Morales utilizes a variety of treatment techniques including; kinesio taping, cupping, Graston IASTM, and skills in custom orthosis fabrication for the upper extremity. Aside from meeting different people and experiencing the fulfillment of improving  patient’s independence with their activities of daily living and leisure activities, she enjoy fabricating custom orthoses and having the opportunity to use her creativity to create orthosis/adaptive equipment templates to improve their function and independence. Most of all, she enjoys seeing her patients return to the things they love and enjoy. To witness “hands” regain their detailed and intricate function/skill is truly such a beautiful thing!
