Lori graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2016. She was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award for her class, the only one in her class to earn this award. She has worked with acute and outpatient settings, including a Level I trauma center. However, her true passion is hand therapy. Lori is currently pursuing a post professional doctorate degree in occupation therapy from Texas Tech University. She is working towards a certification in hand therapy. Lori became an OT because she has a strong desire to help others achieve and reach their goals and gain more independence. She is a proud military spouse of over 20 years and recently moved to San Antonio from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Lori has one son who attends Texas Tech University and 3 beagles, 2 were rescued while living in Hawaii. Lori is an avid runner who has completed 9 full marathons, including the Bataan Death March at White Sands, NM with a 35 lb bag. She was born and raised in Texas and she is happy to be back in Texas and is looking forward to exploring the San Antonio area.
